He is the same, corrupt arrogant man who made fun of CQ on that TV program when they thought that the cameras were not rolling.

Ali Daei Sacked

To be honest, I am no Ali Daei fan after seeing what he really is like but even this makes me feel sorry for him and sort of makes him look like a victim here.
In my opinion Daei is not the problem (certainly Derakhshan is not the solution) to PP problems. The players need to take some onus in this circumstance and realise that the contracts that they sign come with responsibilities and they need to at least try to be professional and work hard. It certainly doesn't look like they are working hard from the outside. It looks more like they collect their paycheck(some times ) and go out to an empty stadium once a week and have a kick around. But I guess that's the problem in our football these days any ways, professionalism.
Either way, they sacked him in such a terrible manner that even I who don't like Daei, sympathise with him.

This time, they did a much better job,
First they starved the players in the first 7 weeks under Daie, and then immidiatly after the sack deposited money in their account, so players will come on board,
and then they announce to bring a retired player, not because at this point he is technically able to be benefitial for Perspolis, but because he is loved by many and can be used for manipulation!
Ey jaaan! .... Esme in filmo bayad bezaraan : "Iran, keshvari ke oftade daste ye mosht madar ghahbe!"
Pop-corn , Sandevich, tokhme?????
this fiasco (especially the way its carried out ) is essentially another character assassination by IR against popular football figures..!
Daie very much brought all these up to himself, he shoulda took some cues from his earlier TM dismissals..! he never shoulda accepted nor lobbied so hard for jobs clearly beyond his abilities and experience, but he isnt very bright and certainly way too arrogant to ever see past his nose..!!
when AK criticized his appointment to TM job, he predictably took it personal, and IR nicely took that animosity between the two and played it out to the max..!
now they want to take that bit of dignity and legacy left from AK8 playing-career, bring him back into a clearly poisoned environment and failing drama-house and further destroy his popularity by season's end. as much as i'd love to see Ali strap up those boots and im fairly confident that he could still be of tremendous football help to PP's MF, I hope AK is smart enough to side step this tempting offer..? afterall he has proven to be sucker for this club and never thinks rationally with decisions associated with it..!!

I don't think Derakhshan has been brought in as the permanent successor to Daei. He's been officially hired as the temporary caretaker. I think they're using him as a escape goat because they know whoever comes in right after Daei is going to face a lot of drama and side issues. They also know a certain segment of Perspolis fans will not rest until whoever replaces Daei is fired and disgraced.
It wouldn't shock me if their plans were to bring in Krancjar all along but wanted to spare him from the immediate fiasco and are just waiting for Derakhshan to absorb the fallout. Derakhshan might know this himself, but his arrogance makes him think he'll do well enough to leave them no choice but to keep him. He thinks he's a lot better than his resume shows. I think after the mid-season there will be a new coach who is the guy they really want.

LOL that was a fantastic 2 minutes. That Siasi dipshit looked like a deer caught in the headlights hahahahahaha
As funny as that was, Rahimi threw in some crucial points in there as well. I am sure Navad on Monday will give a large segment on this, hopefully Rahimi can come and speak for more than the final 2 mins of a show.
The biggest surprise for me is how well Ali Daei has taken this.... he hasn't said much, which I like. I was expecting a lot of commotion, but so far its been a very minimal reaction from Daei. Again, Navad on Monday is probably where we will hear the most about this.

Siasi was actually in control and nothing he said during the interview was any different than your normal company politics. As he said during the interview, the decision to fire the coach is legally in the hands of the "heiyateh modireh". Rahimi was seen as an obstacle, so they just removed him as well. plain and simple“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain
