I agree MR Jaan but I add he is a caretaker in the concept of a funeral rather than footballing term!

ISN - رییس هیات مدیره باشگاه پرسپولیس تهران در مورد دلیل برکناری علی دایی از سرمربیگری این تیم گفت: اگر این کار دیر می شد فرصت قهرمانی برای تیم از دست می رفت

Right decision, but his replacement...oh well, another bad decision to bring in Derakshan but overall, Daie had to go before Perspolis goes down even further.

In any case, Daie needs to take a break and focus on what he is good at; Business.

The besaz befroosh mafia took over.
Daei is not a good coach, but we've gone from a small ditch to running off the cliff.

where are the people who keep whining that Perspolis gets "special" help from the government?

                        first they steal the club,
then they make tons of money off the club,
then they manage it like this..

the only thing the government does for perspolis is that they fuck perspolis.
that's been the story for over 30 years.

I would love it if they gave the job to Haj Mamad.

the most eye opening part of this video is minute 2:53 where a PP fan is crying ....... a grown man crying over the firing of a head coach ....

There are certainly other motives and reasons behind Daie's sacking outside the scope of football and results. They have effectively sacked peyravani too and in other parts of the world a peyravani would have taken on the role as a caretaker manager. Not that he wants the role I suppose.

Whichever way you look at this the manner the sacking was conducted and the aftermath are a farce worthy of a corrupt and incompetent system.

Let's have an Ali Daie farewell testimonial now, and whilst we are at it invite Ali Karimi to play in that game.

I don't understand why so many people come to protest this yet nobody raises their voice against the IFF.

Daei is a terrible coach who fell victim to his own mediocrity as well as the extreme mismanagement of Persepolis. If we want to talk about a 'mafia' in place, then Daei was a part of this organization for large spells of his coaching career (noticeably during his TM spell). Daei has the authority to talk about the serious issues in our football but has only ever done so when he was not part of the 'The Usual Suspects' (Team Melli, Sorkhabi clubs).

Persepolis fans have every right to be outraged but rather than using Daei or person Y as their proxy, they should flat out protest against the mismanagement of this club (especially in the past 6 years).
