imo your words are too harsh, by no means is Daei a terrible coach. Second place in the league and 2 hazfi cups doesn't happen by a fluke. That being said he is not yet a very good coach and still has a lot to learn. And today in a way people were voicing their anger at IFF through the Perspolis board. Even the players (Sadeghian and Aliasgari) were both dumbfounded at the mismanagment. Hopefully we can learn from this and move on sooner rather than later.

Looks like Daei said his goodbye's to the players today? Just saw a picture on Facebook with Sadeghian crying next to Daei.

And people say PP has favouritism....PP is getting taken advantage of every year by bozos. I don't think Daei is the best coach in the world, but I wouldn't fire him in week 7, after he finished 2nd last year and in all fairness has taken on a much newer, younger, inexperienced team this year.

I especially wouldn't replace him with Derakhshan, who looks like he might draw up his tactics with a chisel and stone tablets.

but Daei is smart, he wants his resignation letter so he can charge 5 million dollars for the remaining contract term but if Daei would leave now for any reason, then they would say he left and would not pay him a dime. soooo, it will be very interesting week. looking forward for the next episodes.. I cannot see him agreeing to be anyone's assistant.

personaly I have said many times Daei, as an educated footballer with University degree etc, would be great for a managerial post rather than technical post.
He could be a perfect candidate for Club management or even IFF etc.... that is what suits him most IMHO, but he said himself many times that he prefers "Kare Amali" i.e. technical job....
If one day Daei becomes IFF President, he would be able to bring some professionalism and discipline in the federation but welll he just wants to push very hard proving himself a ta techincal i.e. coaching level....
