Pure speculation but I would assume that his contract has evaluation/buyout points so after asian cup they can choose to move on but he probably receives some sort of compensation for that (but something less than the value of his contract over the next three years obviously)

i think we will have a good asian cup performance, CQ and vingada are working together to bring a young team to the games but we all know that vingada prepares them for the task ahead.. altough many of them might not make the final list in the the asian games. regardless of their match against vietnam, these kids are more than capable to perform, as we saw we had no defense at all and that is where CQ is a master! lets see what we can do, we dont have a lot of time but still we will have a mix of legionaires and home grown players!

The only reason CQ signed was because 80% of Iranian people wanted him! IRI would have NEVER hired a foreign coach to better the team , they were only afraid of the backlash of not renewing CQs contract and thats why they did get him back!
