Firstly, it is not appropriate to disrespect our national coach by bad language.
Secondly, he can be blamed very little since he is not the head coach and Vindaga is.
Thirdly, the problems with Omid Team are way deeper than that to blame one individual for their below average performance.
As usual, you can blame IFF for our lack of ....... (too many things to name). These guys literally got together couple of weeks before the games and had no prep time let alone games.
At least change the thread name and make it more appropriate.

I wouldn't say Houman doesn't know about coaching, because he does. At least theoretically he certainly does.

The problem starts when we expect exact translation of all that theory into a workable practical sense with live human beings, especially younger players, real live scenarios and high tension situations.
That is why they say experience in coaching is just as important as knowledge. It's the other side of the coin.

You can't really blame Houman for this disaster. He isn't the coach. Vingada is. And when you have a handful of star players (some of whom were WC team candidates until the last days and have proven to be very good players by their own rights) and you still turn out disastrous results like this, you know the staff is more at fault than anybody else. Although the players also do bear the blame too. But not as much


But the biggest f**k UPS are kafashian and his utterly useless, incompetent and corrupt fed'n.
They are CONSTANTLY & CONSISTENTLY turning out failure after failure. And yet none of these dirty monkeys are resigning! Worse is they don't care and none of this bothers them and they just brush it off and ignore all their mismanagement and screw UPS. This S.O.B. just laughs it off and never takes anything seriously. As there is no accountability in this regime.

Now, not only did we waste yet another chance to prepare the right team for our Olympic qualifiers (some of theselads are OVERAGE and can't compete in the Olympic qualifiers), we also screwed up our record, our team's spirits and morale and wasted god know how much on a useless set of team+staff and opportunity

And I totally blame morons like kafashian for these things

Is not a question of not being polite toward him or not . He is one of most arrogant person himself by time he was posting here . The newbies of this site(which are a lot) don't remember but people like Dr Doom should remember him well that he was calling Azizi all names in this site . I mean a guy who is part of TM coaching staffs( in that time) calling one of TM favorite players names ? Who is Houman Afazeli himself compare to some one like Azizi? In that time he was licking Daei's balls right and left and called Azizi all kind of inappropriate names because Azizi had issue with Ciro and Ciro put him out of TM
Anyway this is another discussion and i don't want go through argument with newbies and kids posting here . My talk is with Dr Doom and other old times . You are absolutely right . just being able to do X and O doesn't make you a good coach.
It is true Vingada is coach and he is main responsible for this disaster beside IFF . But This Khepel guy wherever he put his noise you can smell failure .
I don't feel sorry and have no respect for some one like him base on his attitude .
