Bacheha left everything on the field for this game and that's the only reason i like this game. It's one of the only games that we stuck to a game-plan and showed true discipline. The defensive tactic was a must for all matches at WC because we sent a poorly prepared team with C+ players and nothing else would have worked but i reaaaaaally hope i never have to watch my national team defend with 11 behind the ball and keep less than 30% possession.

I was at the stadium for this game, and I'm telling you the brazilian fans were fighting for us, the whole time they were chanting against the ref because of the bad calls the ref made, specially for the penalty the ref didn't call... until messi scored the argentine fans who outnumbered us were quiet because they were being controlled by iran, all you could here in the stadium was ole ole ole ole iran iran

My heart started bleeding again
Till today i didn't watch a single highlight video because it hurts so much to see us losing like that.
If it wasn't the god damn ref and Romeroturning into Buffin and Neuer the same time, we would have won that shit.

That was definitely the best game Iran has played under CQ , if not the best game ever and honestly made the whole expense of the Brazil trip worth it..

I just hope that the historical perspective on this game will be something other than the game after which everything started to go wrong for Iran's football program, because at the moment it definitely feels that way.

this game is a straight punch to all those who say we have been parking the bus during the World Cup. If anything, this game shows how decent we were in counter attacks and defending at the same time against the likes of Messi, Higuian... Great tactics, we should have won this game..it gives me the shivers every time I think about it. Iran has so much potential, it only takes CQ to maximize it..remember 21 june 2014 forever, this is how good we can be on our best day.
