Although I like to see younger blood, given A short period to the Asian Games, CQ needs to go for a large element of experience. He has not got much time for experimenting.

The young blood can also cost the championship. Just put Payam there and and he will get into fight with arabs who will fake hits. Even karimi's picture from Qatar game a few years back can prove this point. The main skeleton of the team must be mature and experienced and the young who has not been trained in EUROPE should be only used as sub.
by the way the goalkeeper of Foolad looks very confident and agile. I think we should consider him to by on the list as well. But of course up to CQ...

the only game we played defensively was against S. Korea in Korea. What makes people think we will not play an attacking game against UAE, Bahrain and qatar. Heck, even against Argentina, we had many good attacking chances, and I would not call it parking the bus strategy.

CQ is a realist and his game plans are according to the situation. WC demanded a startegy that almost worked. I remember in a game in one of the qualifiers when Iran was leading comfortably and almost at the end of the game one of the Iranian players passed back and CQ got so angry and animated. Showed his attacking strategy for that game. So i don't believe parking the bus will be part of the AC games.

About what you said about Sadeghian or Sharifi : it is CQ work to make them disciplined and help them to be more consistant. Not by avoiding the problem and invite ghost players instead.

There is no reason to cut Shoja Khalilzadeh. The guy is a beast & probably the best defender in Iran. To top that off he can play as a DM also. Today he was the best player of the match. To not invite him at 25 is blasphemy.

dont agree..!! such absences are just part of being a professional footballer' job..!!
tell me of another Professional "European" footballer 2 weeks after the birth of his kid (unless a medical complications arise) use chilling with his newborn as an excuse to miss a vital match/camp for his club or country..!!?
they must have been a superstar of their team and/or have a lot of leverage, to give such an absentee excuse and still expect to play vital role in their team upon return..!! Davari is neither ..!! he hasnt proven to be the clear best Keeper option for TM, and neither has a lot of Leverage with CQ ..!!
i guess we shall see, what happens to his case in following camps and AC..!!

so what..!! its been a week or more ago..!! it aint like he is the wife in this scenario and cant get away from her child..!!

with IFF's inabilities and this being only 1 of 2 major prep camps for AC, he shoulda prioritize attending if he had any aspirations for minutes during the AC15

I will give him all his life to enjoy the life with his baby. For me, the statue GK doesn't belong to TM and the same goes for Shojaei.

But apparently CQ is more gifted to negociate a juicy contract than seeing some quality in football players.

Well Shoja has every right to speak his mind. Because we Iranians are "kharejiparast" we think every move CQ makes is great.

Im a fan of Shoja and I think we need younger CBs like him as our defensive line is getting old. But why doesn't he ask himself why Vouria has been invited? I think he is mostly upset for not getting called up recently and is just raging.
I also think that Iranians are kharejiparast, I argued during 2 days in the Beitashour thread about this, you can also see it on the forum were most of PFDC members just support whatever CQ does or says, yelling at whoever places a critic, and want to call up average Irish league players to TM. This is wrong, CQ is an excellent coach but not a god and like every manager has his negatives. We shouldn't be narrow minded and be open to critics.

2018 if qualified for the world cup... or if a major fk up happens at the Asian cup next year he is gone... so technically CQ can be sacked next year.
