Congrats Sepahan, well deserved. We just weren't good. Perspolis in the past 6 years has continuously been disappointing its fans, feels as if the team is under a spell, doesn't matter who we sign as the HC or player, yet we fail to deliver. We don't get results, we don't play well, always surrounded by the most controversy and noise in IPL.

We should have snatched Kranjar upon Daei's dismissal. Derakhshan was the biggest mistake the club could have picked.

^ I agree about Derakhshan. During the past few years, even the newly promoted teams to the PGL don't hire him for the head coach job!

For those who confuse our counterattack strategy against Argentina with "parking the bus" and aimless defending, today was a good example of what that actually looks like. Sepahan's goalie could have spent the entire second half watching youtube on his phone and he wouldn't have missed a thing.

BTW, Bengar was to blame for the goal PP conceded. After KB's header, he was much closer to the ball than Sharifi, but Sharifi easily reached the ball, moved freely in the box and scored.

I still don't get why they went with Derakhshan. I don't know what they were expecting. Has he ever been a good manager?

All that comes to mind is him getting sacked by team after team.

I for one would take derakshan any day over Daie. Not that I rate derakshan in any way, but Daie was just god awful in every way. But it's true, we definitely need a worthy replacement/upgrade ASAP, this roster deserves a head coach who knows what he's doing. Heyf....

Just saw the Sepahan goal. Nice pass by Hajsafi, could be more precise though .

Why is nobody mentioning Soroush Rafii's screamer he scored against Naft Masjed Soleiman this week?? It was a beautiful goal!

With what is left of Perspolis, it is impossible to get to top 4 with Derakhshan or anyone else.
We can hang gloves now or get some new players for the remainder of the season.
To lose Khalatbari, Pooladi and Hosseini all at once and then have Payam suspended that is like killing half of the team.
I said it before and I say now that Rahimi and Daei should have got a cut in own salary and should have realized players are more important than fat cat bosses. They should have kept the arab-money-spoiled Khalatbari and given part of their own salaries to him. That was the only choice they had. PP has more than anything scoring problems and now we can see Khalatbari's loss is worse than loss Pooladi and Hosseini.
Without adding 3 new players we can all forget the championship.
Daei and Rahimi had no clue they were going to lose two defenders and did nothing to control the temper of a kid named Payam

This guy just scores screamers left and right since the beginning of the season. Really hope to see him in the AC squad
