    Former Iranian international Majid Bishkar

He represented us in the 1978 World Cup. It's a shame to see how he took a nose dive afterwards.

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

    He played for Rastakhiz Khoramshahr.
From that team few made it to TM teams. Zeraatkar ( MF & C of U19 team of Khuzestan) was most popular locally but Khadempir and Beshkar were different type strikers.
They were exceptional with unique styles. Majid was left footed with speed , skills and power. Abolrazagh was tall and skinny with God given gift of ability to score. He played CF and a true fan-pleaser.

These were last football hero of Khoramshahr.
Ali Hezami is that last Khoramshahri made it to TM (U19).

Rastakhis was the only privately owned team, besides Perspolis, playing first league football in our country. the owner, a local man, was a very wealthy man and well connected to "darbaar", thus the name "Rastakhiz".. Everything they wore was imported from Europe (most likely england). the owner of the team paid out of pocket to have a large section of the stadium rebuilt and to have lighting installed so they can play night games (weather is hot over there even in spring and fall, never mind Summer). He had plans to build a complex to be the home of his team. could have, should have.. fucking 1979 shit happened.

by the way, That keeper, Yousefali, was killed very early on in the war against Iraq, defending his city.

I have heard that he has cleaned out his act with drugs and shit.

          As for " Rastakhiz" :
Club was stablished after creation of Rastakhiz Party by Shah and Party only lasted few years and was abolished by Sharif Emami ( after objection of then Exile G Ayat Khomeini).
Party combined all existing parties Mardom,Iranian, PanIranist , Irannovin) and membership was mandatory.

هر کسی باید جزو این حزب بشود و تکلیف خود را روشن بکند. اگر نشد از ایران بیرون رود. اگر نخواستند بیرون بروند؛ جایشان در زندان[ Shahanshah Aryamehr ].

"Rastakhiz Resurrection " was Iranian version of Syria & Iraq Baath Party.

          Baath (بعث ) = Rastakhiz (رستاخیز )

          رستاخیز. [ رَ ] (اِ مرکب ) (از: رستا، رسته ، مُرده + خیز) رستخیز. برخاستن مردگان . بعث . (فرهنگ فارسی معین ). روز قیامت و محشر.
