As you all know the IFF has refused to allow IRIB cameras into the stadium to film and broadcast games.
IFF claims that IRIB makes millions off of the games and they are entitled to some of the revenue. That is why club games are not being broadcast and won't be until an agreement is made.
To me, IFF is right on this. One of the most important steps in privatization of football is that clubs have income from TV rights. Most professional clubs make the majority of their money from TV.
The only issue is that the product our league delivers is so poor that there doesn't be too many complaints from viewers about the lack of coverage!
