    The guy was a regular on German tv during WC this year and he was rather disrespectful towards Iranian football, saying we have no chance in our group anyhow, will be thrashed by Argentina and similar stuff repeatedly.

      And? A lot of us here on this very forum thought the same so whats wrong with him saying those things? I'm sure more people than him thought we would be trashed by Argentina...

          We didn't trashed by Argentina because of the defensive line-up strategy, but we did finished last in the group. So basically he was right, we had no chance in our group.

            how did we not have a chance? tying a game and losing off a goal in the 90th minute doesnt sound like we had no chance.....

              Having a chance is relative and I will not enter that discussion with you. The fact is that we finished last in our group, and i bet you can do the math...

                  Lutz Pfannenstiel was playing in the lower leagues of New Zealand, for a player like that of course he would of dreamed on playing in a league where the average crowd was more then 100

                      Lutzi, those times are over. Now u will see 5.000-6.000 people at Azadi and maybe 40.000 for the so called "daaaaarbi".
