One more thing: In the blistering heat of Australia, a 'rest' game has the potential to have huge benefits for the team. Similar to 2011, the best case would be to win our first two matches, which ultimately gives the majority of regular starters (many of which are older players) the opportunity to rest.

Im 75% sure Iran will win it. Iran has a terrific fan base in Australia. The climate will suit us and the conditions (as in match day) will be very neutral and perfect for the boys.

I know you didn't mean it on a technical level, but even though Spain played some really ugly football (and still does in my opinion) at least they were extremely proficient on a technical level. They could keep possession, we just hoof the ball up and hope Ghoochannejhad can miraculously do something.
