On one hand you don't want the youngsters to play instead of the established ones. At the same time you use this very issue as an argument not to use them!!!
    lol
Does this even make sense? Ridiculous.
    To put it simply;
I won't let you into a room. And then say as long as you're not in the room, you won't be selected!!! Insane silliness that must be given an award.
They've all been invited to TM. They have all practiced and had the opportunity to show themselves. Do you think maybe the manager didn't like what he saw?

Yes, yes. You mean that 15-20 minutes they got to dislodge a player who's been getting fixed spot for the past 6 years (you calculate the number of minutes). They just failed to score 17 goals, 29 assists and loads of other stuff in those long 15-20 minutes.
      Right! That must be it.

Coz if we're supposed to assess a player based on 15 minutes, then I think I can pick some very delightful 15 minutes to show how shit Messi or Ronaldo or Roben are.

When a player is failing so miserably, logic dictates you give the alternatives a decent amount of time to find their footing within the team and settle before you judge them.

I think a reason why CQ is sticking to Shojaei is the fact that Shojaei can prove himself in the training camps against his own team mates.
He knows how to impress CQ by dribbling iranians and since they are stuck in k!ri tarof they don't take hard on him.

But against real opponents who give a shit about your attitude and passion for your country things are different.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Why do you expect that every player put on a show for you or the fans in televised matches?

They train in camps and based on their performance the manager picks his players. CQ is no different. All the players you mentioned have been invited and tried out for playing time in TM.

Just because you didn't get your way as far as player selection goes doesn't mean that they weren't tested. It just means you're not the manager.

LMAO. Thats some stuff i never thought about ! Sounds very likely to me. Shojai dribbling and outplaying all his lame taarofi team mates (kholase az espania miyad dige ) while CQ stands there with his jaw dropped. (I assume he is pretty dissapointed when it comes to the actual matchday )

I swear to god it must be like this. Especially younger players who are all tought from parentshouse and cultural side to respect the elder just let masoud do.
We must get rid of this k!iri tarof. As i said in a gazillion threads before, Tarof is like driving a Porsche with handbrake pulled to maximum. FFS let go this shit and give everything.

Imagine what would happen to CQ seeing a youngster raping shojaei left and right with his skills in a training camp?
                  CQ would jizz his pants.
But reality is our youngsters are all baboo va moadab uber respecting guys past their prime.

Dude, that was supposed to be a joke. If you seriously believe that players do taarofbazi during training camps, you gotta get your head checked.

Where you want to know what I supposed to say as joke and what not?
I definitely believe that our players are stuck in Tarof.

In training camps you never take hard on your own team mate. This fact plus the tarof issue result in players display which is not 100% accurate. That's all I am saying.
I am thinking out of the box here and knowing our culture as well it is not unlikely.

As Ezatollzadeh said himself: they let us (youngsters) play . He said it in the context of old and young players.

Our culture is old-parast. And Tarof is a big issue as well.

My cousin is a former tak-tirandaz (sniper) and he used to be very good or at least above average.
The son of one the sarhangs joined the camp and was utter shit in sniping. So when they had training and tests, my cousin was told to sit(lay) next to that guy and shoot his target too so the guy could pass the sniping test.
This little story refers to Iranians in general.
Havayeh hamdigaro Daran. Either being told to do so or because of tarof. And it is absolutely not unlikely that this can refer to football training camps as well.

Not saying that it is definitely like this.
Just thinking out of the box and try to find a reason.

It's an interesting theory, but honestly, thinking that Queiroz prefers Shojaei over others because of taarofbazi sounds very far-fetched. It is very unlikely to say the least.

The number 10 position is one of the most important positions in the team. A player should have certain skills to play this position. Shojaei lacks most of these qualities. The position which brings out the most of Shojaei's skills is that of second striker, but even in this position Ansarifard, Azmoun and Gucci can all play as second striker better than him, so i personally see no use in him. Shojaei is def no playmaker, ask any semi prof coach in Europe and they'll tell you that. It's not his fault he's failling in TM, in the past he played on the wings or as striker, and these are positions that suit him better.

Training camps in the rest of the world have strict procedures, yes but not in Iran

Shojaie initially played on the wing before the WC. We all said that was not his position etc. The fact is he is physically weak and slow. He has moments of greatness but they are getting farther and farther apart. This is especially true against faster and physical teams.

But the Arabs are not any better. So he could fit CQ's plan for playing three Arab teams.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary
