The fifth edition of the Globe Soccer Awards introduces another innovation to complete the range of awards.
On the evening of 29 December, football will reflect on a year of hard work and results, with the assignment of the Globe Soccer Awards, which have regularly ended up in the trophy cabinets of people who represent the top of the game. After introducing the award for fans who provide the best proposals on the issues of ethics (2012) and stadiums (2013), in 2014 (as announced last year in the presence of the FIFA and UEFA heads of refereeing, Busacca and Collina) a special Award will be presented to the referee who is judged the best in the current footballing year by their colleagues. With the establishment of awards for categories of footballing operators which were previously overlooked (directors and agents) to which have been added fans and referees, together with coaches, players and teams, a process has been completed which has been ongoing over the 5 years of the awards."
