players not getting paid and depending on their parents for support is just a norm in Iran. I hope to see a day where that ends but right now, Iran is not the Iran of old
The whole country is broken. Just like you said, it isn't just football. For example, did you know that out of the 23 Mig-29s in the IRIAF inventory only 8 are airworthy?

I wasn't calling you stupid, I called your statement that we should close down one of Iran's most historical teams stupid, and it really was. Imagine randomly just saying that England should Sunderland, a club with 138 years of history, just because they are doing poorly.

really pathetic if you have to take it to that extreme. just because he doesn't agree with your opinion doesn't mean you go attack his mom and say unnecessary things.

no club should ever shut down but if they can't meet the financial demands of running a program, then it should be in question whether if the program is old or not

No need for this.. There are better ways to respond back.

ok, i was thinking you were attacking me so a responed, maybe to harsh.

Ok maybe not closing down, but not allowing to compete in the highest level if they can not manage the club.
That rule should be for every club that dont take care of the club in a proper way.

I want Naft to fix their problems so we have a decent representative in the ACL. This is a club with history and it was never relocated to another province. It was about to be moved to Arak but Faraki, players and fans fought against it.

They ruined Saba Battery and PAS by moving them to Qom and Qazvin.. It’ll be a shame if this club relegates this season due to the lack of professionalism and ownership.

Naft has been sentenced to pay a fine of 2.2 billion Toman (app 470.000 USD) to Ali Karimi. Well deserved.

Insane: As a sign of protest against the never ending problems, the players are planning not to MOVE during tomorrow's game vs Foolad (Mannequin protest). Let's see if it really happens.

This is very embarrassing for our league. But it has to happen because it’s just a tiny branch of evidence proving the rapidly declining economy of Iran.

If the players knew the situation at Naft is bad, why the hell do they sign with before the season?
