Everyone needs to relax. The reason behind these friendlies is just to put our players to the test, and see who will be selected to go to the Asian cup. I couldn't give a crap if we lost 8-0 (although embarrassing), the whole point of inviting the local clubs to play is just to give some kind of opposition to our players, and to bring some tactics from the training grounds into a match. We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

And add to that the competition we can actually watch on TV. So in summary: IT REALLY SUCKS!
And please let's not bring up the sanctions or that none wants to play us. NK and Iraq get more friendlies than we do.“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain

Kaizer Chiefs F.C. VS IRAN
You do know that most of the players that played yesterday won't even get some minutes to play in the Asian Cup? Would you think it would be a better idea to play against some random African national teams such as Mauretania or Swaziland??
South African league is one of Africa's best leagues and they have World Cup experience. Even if it's their second team, it's still a good test for our newbies to get prepared for Australia and get used to the climate conditions
Carlos Queiroz is by far the best and most professional coach of Asia and he knows what to do!
