Gucci to return to Charlton!

Looking at his limited playing time at several clubs I can only say he has been very effective. The only teams where he only scored 1 goal were Emmen and Charlton Athletic. His best times were at Cambuur and Sint-Truiden. He should consider going back to these teams if he wants to inject some live in his career.

This might be a little off-topic, but I honestly think Gucci choosing to play for TM was one of his best decisions ever. Before that, as an average player, he wasn't really known or had that many fans, chances are no one would even know who he is if he walked around the streets of any city except the one he plays for. Now when choosing to play for TM, he is basically loved by 80 million people, his fan base is much larger and he is much more famous.

I just wish he wouldnt opt to go to Kuwait/Qatar

But I guess it's not the end of the world, since we now have Azmoun who CQ will probably use as a starter, so Gucci will most likely be a substitute for the last 30 min or so.

i doubt reza would go back, he didnt like it much at charlton and the feeling is quiet mutual, especially under their new coach who doent rate him at all..!
its gonna be arab and iran clubs for him from here on..!! as long as he plays well enough in TM i couldnt care less anymore ..!
his TM spot is on shaky grounds and not so guaranteed anymore, he is clearly 2nd choice after Azmoun and likely to demote further from there if a promising youngster from ipl make a case for himself in a tm camp..!!

ansarifard is a bust, IMO for most part..!! Were wasting way too much time waiting on him to prove himself worthy of consistent call-up..!! its time to give another youngster a try in his place..!

Of course Azmoun is slowly becoming the first striker, but we really don't have that much of a decent proven back up forwards. Ansarifard is struggling at Osasuna, Gucci is hanging around in Qatar and then we have another few unproven talents like Sharifi.

dont need anymore than what we got on the striker position, considering our tactics and lineups which almost always only relies on one..!!
got Azmoun who's just blossoming and already a boss..! Got Reza who's Still a Starting-quality Backup as far as asian standards are concerned..!!

imo, our only dilemma in striker-position is that, should we invest more time and trials on Ansarifard project?? or should we move on to other domestic options for bit more added depths in that spot..!!

atm, the only thing keeping Karim as part of CQ team is his familiarity with his system of play and his move to Europe..!! but at some point very soon he has to also deliver on the pitch for TM or i doubt CQ would be able to side-step the pressure to replace him with a more worthy youngster from the league..!!
Personally i would drop his ass cold now and wait for Karim to prove himself at his club before inviting him back, but i think CQ will keep faith in him and give him one last go Vs tokhmy opponents in our preliminary round of WCQualifiers..!!

I have given up in Gucci in terms of club performance, but he is still useful in TM. He proved his worth in AC2015 once again.

HOWEVER, he is not the one to look forward to for the future. Azmoun and Sharifi will insure our striker position for the next 10 years.

It's been take out of context. He said since he's still under contract with Charlton he needs to go to London and talk to the officials before knowing what his next destination will be. He also highly praised the Qatari League and said he's enjoyed playing there and there is a high chance he will be there again next season and even though he lost his place in the final matches of the season under the new coach, He's been informed that Wakra want him to continue with them.

CAFC owns his ass for another year and they would take offers from any suitor who agrees to pay his wages & possibly Plus, some sort of a loan transfer fee..? highly doubtful another EU team would outbid an arab team for services of anymore a relatively washed up, QSL-bench-warmer..!
