When we get grouped with Qatar for the next round of WCQ, him and all the others from TM will be right back in the desert gutter. Wait and see.

I have a feeling that he'll remain at Charlton and play a many games there, considering he is Charlton's record breaking player by being the only Charlton player to score at the World Cup. He has respect by the fans, so he will surely play whether the coach likes it or not. Not to forget a regular at TM, as well.

Am I the only one who couldn't careless about Gucci's career choices anymore? He has perpetually disappointed me with his mind boggling decisions for so long that I just don't care anymore. As long as he performs for TM then I don't care what's next for him, clubwise. Soosmarkhor, Aghrabkhor, Sooskkhor, heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up playing for an indian or a bangladeshi club.

For real, I mean as long as he comes up clutch when we need him to. I think he doesn't see the attraction of European football anymore when he could just as easily play in Qatar for so much more money. I wish he had some lower mid table Eredivisie interest or even Belgium again but it doesnt seem that he has it. Shame.

For whatever reason Reza has been amazing for the national team, but continuously struggling to get playing time in his clubs (referring to Europe). Whether its the coach, the league, or whatever else, Reza won't be playing much if he is part of Charlton. I personally hope he can find his way to the Dutch league again, I think he is more suited for their style of football. He needs to get out of these Arab teams ASAP, he deserves better.

He has very little respect from their fans - I don't know if you've ever been on their forums but the negativity surrounding him is there for all to see.
To be fair, a lot of them are idiots on there but I can understand some of the anti-Gucci sentiment as he did desert the team after a poor 6 months rather than try to prove his worth. It's hard to respect a player who joins your team, doesn't perform well and then turns his back on the team to play in Kuwait while they're struggling. I mean, Kuwait. That isn't going to endear you to passionate fans of your parent club.
It would be great if he could go back and score some goals and turn some opinions around but realistically, I think he's burnt his bridges there. He will will move on again in the summer, sold or loaned.

Charlton needs money their current transfer records is -3.8m euro. Most likely they sell or loan Gucci to another Arab club for a fat contract.
