^ think that friendly has been canceled for quiet a while now
last night's game vs Bolton was the replacement test match, i believe.
Charlton had like a 10 man bench and about a handful of new signings who had yet to feature for the team in any test matches, so chances were always very slim that he would get any playing minutes in that Last test match before season kicks off next Sat. vs QPR..!!
still he was chosen by the coach to fly along with their definite first team to that friendly, so that should be an encouraging sign for Reza..!!
he just have to work hard in training and stay in top shape and ready to step in when asked..! there was no way he was going to get any better reception on his return after snubbing them so bad last summer after the WC..!!
Im pretty sure at some point soon in the season CAFC gonna need his services, especially with their main striker still somewhat injured and out of form and sever lack of Pure Finishers and goal-poachers in current squad...!!
CAFC now have a lot of quality wingers and MFdrs in their current squad, so i think he will get plenty good service and goals if played in his natural CF position..!!
for now, lets keep fingers crossed he make the First Team playing squad ...!! minutes will come if he stays motivated and trains hard and show positive attitude..!!
this is pretty much a make or break season for him so far as his EU playing career is concerned and probably also his TM starting/minutes played when you think about it..!! he has to re-ignite his EU football career this season or fade back into ME football obscurity..!!Comment
