We played a friendly vs Guingamp in the Daei-Azizi era. There must be some iranian connections there.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

We played them in 1998, prior to the WC98. We also played Nantes and Montpellier. If we had connections with them, why nothing happened since 17 years?

Because Iranians need 17 years to get things done
        Like we build our stadiums.

Ali Hazami's position is CAM right?

Imagine if he gets to Guingamp, shines in their main team we have a new gem playing in one of Europe's top leagues!

I remember he had sick performances for Iran U-17 in the 2013 World Cup.

Why couldn't make it to portugal (sporting?) last year?

                Foolad blocked his move

he is primarily a left winger AFAIK

Nice, we can use a good winger too. I really hope this all materializes and we have another talent in Europe! This is the only way we can improve and have a shot to reach the next round at a World Cup.

He should go to Guingamp, they are a small club with little controversy and have a track record of producing incredible players

What does our dear Zandi Joon thinks about this possible transfer?

I think his agent is a member on this site so what are the actual chances foolad lets him go this time? This summer can potentially somewhat make up for last summer with some young players going to Europe

Obviously if he makes it to EAG at 19 it would be completely amazing and would make him an obvious choice for TM starter in the future. Ligue 1 is better than Portugal but I would say the Portuguese league would suit his style more, either would be completely fine though. Guingamp are kind of a mid-table/bottom team, not that great but would be a good choice for a 19 year old. These are rumors though we should wait and see what happens we know how Europe transfers work in Iran

Good analysis, I wonder why it took so long our youngsters from the talented WC 2013 U-17 squad getting picked up by European sides. Here is a Facebook post from his page last year:

Really stupid from Foolad if they don't let him go.
