He's in Tehran now waiting for medical test results. So still a chance he will make it.

Huge loss if he misses the AC. Without him and Pooladi our defence will certainly be weakened. Fingers crossed he will make it..

He's definitely our best defender and we all saw that in World Cup as well. I really really hope he will make it.

Bad News, Montazeri injured and will miss Asian Cup!!

I'm not aware of current TM situation regarding the quality of the squad.

Any knowledgeable person can suggest the ideal replacement for Montazeri?

              well this sucks..!!
i guess, its gonna be Sadeghi and Hossaini anchoring our D throughout the AC and most probably Khosro and Haj Safi moved back to cover RB & LB positions respectively..!!?
also the chances of that young dude Vouria? Ghafouria?? kid making the AC final squad more than doubled..!!?

It's very clear they did this to him on purpose. They probably will try doing this with the rest of our players in the arab leagues too.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Haven't been on PFDC too much in the last few years.

Is this a sarcastic post or do you genuinely believe what you have written?

This would be a HUGE blow to TM. With Pouladi gone too and Haghighi recently struggling on crosses, this is a terrible situation for TM.

Sure Heydari can play RB and I wasn't too keen on him taking JB's spot as the RAM anyway, but we now have zero depth on our bench for defense. What happens if Heydari gets injured, couple of yellows, gets sick or simply not in form. Same thing for Hajsafi.

I was already pretty sad about Hajsafi having to play as a LB instead of a LAM because it was reducing our fire power on the left side, especially if CQ is keen to let Shojaei play there, but what happens now if we have any more injuries?!

I think it was a little bit of both. Let's face it, the Qatari's are the dirtiest country in the AFC when it comes to football. Can't put anything past them at this point.

oh, he very genuinely believes it alright..!!
and @ least this time i do too..!! i mean how dafauq else would you seriously injure a teammate during a supposed fking Training session..!!??
but i guess, he gets what he signed up for..,!! CQ warned these guys about joining kiri arab teams and they went ahead anyways chasing quick cash..!!
now look what has become of them all..?? our absolute rock solid defender, Hossaini is in probably worse form of his career..! our WC beast Pooladi ..? well who dafauq knows..? havent heard of him playing much of any football since the WC..!!??
Our top talent in TM, Ashkan...!! well i dont even know if he even managed to appear in 40% of available minutes so far this season at a fking worse team or one of the worst teams in absolute shittt gutter league..!! our already half-ass performer Massoud in a fitting Half-ass gutter league getting disillusionary sense of accomplishment, before rudely awakened by the serious levels of competition at AC..! Our Top scorer and arguably best goal-scoring forward since Daie and arguably the best in that regards in all of asia, isnt even good enough to warrant playing minutes in the past handful or more matches in one of the worst teams in the Mikey Mouse Kuwait league..!! oddly enough, the one guy who has already retired himself from TM is performing admirably there and the One other TM Starting arab legionnaire who has managed to keep himself in a decent form, all the sudden get seriously injured in the last club team training session pre AC...!!

COINCIDENCE ..?? I dont think so...!!
unless you also think Gutter laying down in their last WCQualifier vs Uzbekistan and allowing them to insert 5 goals up their rears in a pathetic last ditch attempt at preventing TM reaching brazil was also just a COINCIDENCE..????

Hugh blow! Khalilzadeh should be his replacement. Khanzadeh can be positioned as RB aswell with Hosseini and Sadeghi as CD's and Hak Safi as LB.
