Who remembers the 2011 AFC? Our group stage was very exciting and I thought we played very well.

Comparing that player list to this one, I just hope we can have the same offensive firepower we had back then.

What mind games? I doubt arabs will be looking at iranian news. Queiroz seems to like bringing the team down i wouldnt be surprised if he plays defensively against bahrain.

Rezaei was my favourite player for a long time, he really shined under Daei's era, and as seen in this game he was great under Ghotbi too, he is a strong, fast, and skilled forward. I think he was a great shadow striker. I wish it could have continued. And i still haven't figured out why we dont see khalatbari any more such a quality player, excellent super sub[

While I've often said that I don't rate Heydari or understand why CQ sticks with him... it takes a complete scum bag to wish injury on a player. seriously, what the hell is wrong with you???

I miss several players like Khalat bari, rezaei and Nouri. CQ was too fast to eleminate nouri.
Having said that I think we can move to 4-4-2 with Gucci and Azmoun opfront and sharifi, AF
on bench.
Ghotbi had a good team in first round but sucked in NeXT round
