Then it shouldn't be difficult at all for one of you guys who think this is typical to provide the rest of us with a SINGLE example (not a dozen, just one) of what I asked you for in the previous post:

"a coach in the whole history of football, going into a major tournament as the 1st ranked team and one of the top 4 favorites to win the tournament, saying they weren't even one of the favorites to get out of the group stage".

UAE and Qatar are nobodies in football. Where where they at World Cups? How many times did they won the Asian Cup? How many European based players do they have?

UAE and Qatar are nobodies in football. Where where they at World Cups? How many times did they won the Asian Cup? How many European based players do they have? Then again, I support CQ but I despite his ''mind-games'' all along. This is not the first time it happened, after the Bosnia game he was also very negative about our players.
For what? Bosnia is a shit team. They got lucky not to get raped by Argentina which played on 50%, and their defense seemed like a bunch of amateurs against Nigeria. Not to mention they are having a horrible EURO 2016 campaign, almost eliminated from qualifying! And Bosnia deserved to go to R16 according to CQ. CQ needs to have more optimism in our team and our players.
This is mostly nonsense and I will just bother with a couple of things. UAE and Qatar are NOT miles behind us anymore. Did you watch UAE at the 2012 Olympics? Did they seem like they were miles behind us? I don't even know how long you've been following team melli or Asian football to make such definitive declarations.

Your idea that Bosnia is a "shit team" and that they were "lucky not to get raped by Argentina" is just your own silly opinion. The whole world saw them dominate Argentina. You want to think they were shit based on your extensive Playstation knowledge, go ahead. I'm done with your childish bs.

I don't mind you don't bother to read my posts. I asked you where UAE and Qatar have been at World Cups, you start bringing up Olympics. The world cares more about World Cup than being present at some Olympic tournament where any nation sends their B-team. I follow Team Melli long enough to know UAE and Qatar are minnows in Asian football and nothing more than that.

Well, Bosnia is truly a garbage team. They ''dominated'' Argentina, but still lost hopelessly with 2-1. Against Nigeria they were simply horrible. After these two pathetic performances all their fans expected Iran to beat their Bosnia with at least 3-0! What a joke how it turned out to be. You can all read it back on BigSoccer.

We outclassed Bosnia with our performance against Argentina. Nobody remembers Kolasinac's fuck up which led to an own goal against Argentina, but everyone recalls Iran's heroic performance against Albicelestes. Believe in our team.

My suggestion to everyone is: Let the games be played, if they lose and all this didn't work then criticize and say you knew better. As of right know you all sound as crazy as Mazloumi coming on the air during the halftime of Iran - Lebanon claiming that our world cup hopes are over and CQ should be immediately fired.
              fair enough and well said.

However, regardless of if we win and become the champs or if we dont make it out of our group...
that deosnt take the responsiblity away from IFF and vezarat-e varzesh who have royally dropped the ball in the last 6 months.

^ If CQ sucked at motivating our players or demoralized them the way Playstation Analysts here seem to think, that video would be showing us getting trashed by the Argentinians. Now post more videos of Iran playing great against the world cup finalists thanks to the same coach that you think is either sabotaging the team or doesn't know what he's doing!

I don't even know why I bother with this nonsense.

When did I say he is sabotaging the team? I don't know how many times I need to say I support CQ. But his statement is just unacceptable. We often get trash talked by our Korean rivals and mostly feel offended too. But when CQ downplays our team against UAE and Qatar, it's all good? Marg bar Playstation analysts.

Just because it doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. It just means you don't get it even after it was explained with other examples in plain English.

UAE and Qatar are nobodies maybe this is why his words hurt so much. How many times during our football history we have demolished these teams ?! too many to count. so for him to come out and say such thing and put these inferior teams above us dosen't sit well.

we play with gheyrat against these teams. even if our players didn't have enough training or friendlies, we still beat them. anyway, the point is, we shouldn't even worry about these teams.

I tried to find more examples but all I found were coaches saying "we r the greatest team ever in the history of the Asian continent of world football ever and we will destroy all team with great pride and Jedi spirit because we are best and very patriotic and best football".

                              It's right here:

Here is a video from 1996 Asian cup, Iran VS Saudi Arabia, the eventual champions. Iran defeated Saudi, 3 to nothing. Saudi has historically been one of the better teams from the Persian gulf region and again, they won the 1996 championship, but in group stage we destroyed them.

Now, you are going to tell me, Qatar and UAE, two countries which are smaller than one province of Iran, are above us somehow ?!
