Early nerves aside and their ridiculous pace on the break which makes our midfield two look like old age pensioners, we've settled well and dominated. Hajsafi's first goal looked like it might be onside, no? Still, what a strike for the actual goal. Hosseini doing a great job on John. Gafouri getting forward well and that delivery into the box from him was superb. Can maybe throw on Alireza and Sardar for Masoud and Reza if we get the second and make sure of the result.

Masoud was pretty good compared to his previous games, I am proud of him, but I still want Jahanbakhsh to come in, and I wouldn't take out Hajsafi. Masould should be brought out for Jahanbakhsh somewhere around the 60th minute.

Also loving how ghafouri uses his speed to link up with dejagah. A lot of our crosses came from them. Maybe bring in azmoun as Gucci hasn't been very impressive

my comments on the first half L

1- wrong positioning :
thats why we got off sides , and we cant use any attacking efforts .

2- luck of support:
no enough or sufficient support while attacking .

3- slow preparation :
in the counter attack , we should go quickly , but , if we delay we will allow them to strength their defence.

4- wrong passing :
it costs us a lot , i have to choose the best time , player and place for passing .

I hope , we add another 3 goals minimum , but we have to avoid the above mentioned mistakes.

I hope you don't and that we do instead. Go Iran! Go take a shower grass rollers!

This guy apart from his goal, is one of the very few Iranian players who can do very well at everything, attack, defending, shooting, passing, pressuring, dribbling you name it.

He was actually on his way to Fulham but it all fell apart due to paperwork!
