He wasn't even qualified at all to be a coach for team meli and this is what he does with this opportunity.

He has a massive ego which consistently leads him to act like a big time bache naneh.
Qualified enough to be offered the position by CQ. It baffles me how no one seems to feel CQ has some responsibility in this event. This is 75% Karimi and 25% CQ and IFF blunder.

it doesn't matter what the circumstances were...ali karimi is an immature, unstable crybaby and has no place in the future of iranian football. he thinks he's the people's champion because he speaks up and calls people out, but he doesn't have the polish or judgment to know how to use his 'boldness' to do any good. carlos gave this guy a huge opportunity and he blew it for what i'm CERTAIN was a trivial reason.

it was this same spoiled-rotten dramatics that hurt his playing career. it's not a coincidence anymore - he's a cancer.

Khabar Online is pretty decent (with Iranian standards) and since it includes an actual quote from CQ (i.e. in quotations), I'd be inclined to think they're not making it up. Also, that's something I would expect CQ to say, knowing him and how he feels about trouble makers.

Hopefully Vahid Hashemian will get his proper coaching licenses and will join CQ in TM for WC 2018 QF and beyond. Ali karimi was an amazing player but he dosen't have the professional attitude. Hashemian on the other hand, is ver professional and he was a very good player as well, you have to be good to last that many years in germany, also, I will never forget his goal against Japan in 2005.

^ Only in Iran you can be named assistant coach of the national team without having any license. Clown house at it's finest.

There are plenty other countries who do this as well, relax.

                        ^^^
The problem is that Karimi is not someone who 'doesn't back down'. Instead, he makes veiled threats and quits. Not backing down is what CQ has essentially down with the entire Federation, Sports Minister, and even the President of the country.

Karimi has ruined the best chance he had to 'start fresh' in our football. For all the times he says that he does it for the fans, he sure lets us down a lot.

Unfortunately AK has always been a quitter, had he not been a quitter, who would have certainly turned into a legendary world class footballer when he was transferred to Bayern Munich at is prime time. His unprofessional mentality, lack of discipline and passion, rebellious personality hindered him from becoming a worldwide popularity and possible legendary status.

I remember his manager at time (Can't remember his name, but he was based out in Dubai) saying how Karimi hates football and has zero passion for his footballing career and will not prosper as we all wanted him to. I believe even Felix Magath the HC of Bayern at the time hinted at the very same points about him. He was in Germany for about 2 years if I am not mistaken and did not even attempt learning putting together a few German sentences together, what do you call that? After playing so many years abroad, I doubt even he can understand and speak a proper English...

I have always loved him dearly and still do, however he as never had a professional and appropriate mentality, often stirred things up anywhere he was/played. Yes he does have balls and speaks his mind out loud which is great, but sometimes you need to take everything into consideration before making chaos.

Him and Daei both are my most favorite Iranian footballers of all time (For as long as I can remember our players) however sadly both are 2 of the most rudest and noisy players ever. Total rebels.

I wish we had more of the likes of Hashemian and Mahdavikia!

Happy New year BTW folks, love you all!
