Iraq has been weak lately. I think Japan and Jordan will come out of group D.

Then you obviously didn't see Jordans form, even losing to Estonia.

Their new head coach Ray Wilkins is clueless, while we appointed our best local coach.. I think we will clinch runners-up spot.

I think the first scenario is not all that good,iran having to play saudi or korea in semi finals is not good as both teams are teams that usually eliminate us in big competitions.i would rather the second scenario with us facing ausis or japan at least there we will get something fresh.

I know what u mean. When i was doing the Semifinals at the 1st scenario "S.Korea vs Iran" I was thinking for some min and i wasnt sure what to do.
I really hope Iran will have a good tournament but in Irans case you never know. We had many great moments in the last 3 years and very very dark moments.
The best moments were beating SKorea 2 times and then we had moments like losing to Lebanon and playing bad against small Arab Teams.
So u never know what Iran will play.
I have the feeling even CQ doeant know how good our team is. How many times have we played an attacking football/formation in the last 10 Months? I cant remember a single. And at the AFC we have to play forward. We are not playing against Nigeria or Argentina. So we dont have to defend... And i dont know if oour team can do this. Thats why i say we wont win this tournament.
But lets see.
