I really hope Hajsafi finally replaces Shojaei in the lineup. At this point he contributes better offensively and he provides even more defensive upside since he actually has experience as LB. The way he's matured as an offensive player the last couple seasons, there really is no excuse for him not getting the starting LW spot.

I would go along with this. I think Dejagah's experience will still get him the starting spot but Rafiei is my favorite player in Iran right now. The last minute nod to make the team should motivate him even more.

we will most likely start with formation maybe shojaei might start but i think hajsafi will start, same formation as world cup, then depending on the game, we might move to this formation

he may not be a 90 min player but he was iran best player against korea and he play well and he is physical
