He is a great keeper. If it was not for Messi's moment of brilliance he would have had 2 clean sheets at the WC.

Haghighi has the potential to become Iran's best goalkeeper if he makes the right career decisions. With some luck and hard work he will end up in a decent European team as number one goal keeper. Not talking about Rubin Kazan or relegation zone teams like Penafiel. Mid table teams like Swansea City, AZ Alkmaar, Real Sociedad or Torino are very realistic if he steps up big time and continues to do so.

I just hope a decent team will offer him a new contract so he can get out of the annoying "Rubin who does not give him playing time and sends him on loan" situation.

Very well rounded, smart, fit, and high level of professionalism. One of my top favourite TM players

Last I heard he was throwing them in to his own goal for the worst defence in the second tier of Portuguese football, I'm not sure mid-table teams in the world's best leagues are realistic in any way but I admire your faith, brother.

My favourite thing about his skills is his confidence. Saw it really show against Argentina he barely looked phased. Confidence is so important for a keeper and he is one of the most confident keepers I have seen. He has a few areas he needs to work on, but he is making the right career choices and have lots of high hopes for him

Great player but from the WC, I have to say his distribution leaves a lot to be desired.

His confidence was truly remarkable during WC. I was so glad to see that. After Abedzadeh, we never had a keeper with such poise and confidence in between the posts.
I remember Nima Nakisa during 1998 WC. He was so nervous, that I thought he is going to have a heart attack.
