Honestly, one of the Iranian jersey (home or away) have to be with this sky blue color. Like japan with blue, Italy with blue etc...

And it will add some difference with all the arab countries copying our colors!

For example :
Home : all white with a green-white-red diagonal stripe
Away : sky blue

he was a shadow of his old self during the SK friendly and i hear SS let him leave..!! which tells me he hasnt been his usual BeastMode Ando for them this season as well..????

I think it is because it is a AFC banner with the "official" name of each country

the picture was made by AFC, so you know that's why there is the IR. I have no love for the IR part.

man, this iraqi team dosen't seem that good. they have one guy in MLS (he plays for the crew, not exactly the best team from MLS), one guy in turkish league which is ranked third from bottom, one guy in english league one, one guy in an amateur dutch league, they have only one player who plays for a decent team, Ahmad Yasin, orebro. Their captain is also without a team.
