Can you elaborate on this, please? Are you hinting at his decline in shape?

Yes, I am referring at his decline in shape. During the Bosnia game he was very error-prone, he made few big mistakes which lead to respectively the 1-0 and 2-0. He is a great player, he had wonderful performances and never disappointed us. Rock-solid in defense, but it was clearly visible he was completely fatigued in the last game at the World Cup. For players like Hosseini who mostly have had a career in IPL (I am not bashing IPL, the standards in fitness and stamina are just low compared to world standards), many games in a short span are just too much.

We need to rest Hosseini as much as possible for the Quarter Finals. These moments are where I worry about our aging team and lack of depth in CB's.

Good observation. I think you are right, but Hosseini is not an exceptional case. There are other IPL players on the team who are not used to the intensity of such a tournament. Let's see how Queiroz is going to deal with it. I am sure he remembers the Bosnia match and will come up with a viable solution. Judging by his statements during the press conference, he seems to be going for some changes in the line-up against UAE, with Hosseini possibly being one of the candidates to be benched.
