I meant to work on them months ago, But I didn't get the chance to do it. I finally finished them today.
All our skills and highlights against an Argentina who thought we'd be a piece of cake last summer:

Mehrdad Pouladi's skills and highlights against Argentina:

I could have never imagined Mehrdad Pouladi, the player who sat on the bench in Esteghlal 6 years ago, becoming not only a starter for Iran but a key asset of Team Melli today. I'm very proud of him and our team in the way that they performed against Argentina in Brazil. Mehrdad Pouladi was phenomenal in my book. However I really wished he wasn't a victim of the Islamic regime. Had Pouladi went to Europe after the World Cup, we would have easily seen the difference playing in Europe makes in a talented LB like him. It breaks my heart that our own country (or the a$$holes who run it currently/unfortunately) would do this to him and Mahini.
Anyways, what's done is done. Let's not hold on to what has passed. I'm glad everything is sorted out now and he will be a part of the team in the Asian Cup.
This Team Melli of today, will NOT be an easy target in Australia 2015. And if anyone really thinks that we will bow out in the group stage, then they must be smoking something really good or haven't watched this match. I'm not saying just because we played well against Argentina, we will without a doubt win the Asian title this year. Don't get me wrong. I'm trying to prove a point. It's true that we didn't have the best preparation or play more friendlies. But that doesn't mean we will get knocked out in the group stage. We have a confident, strong, talented squad who are training and getting ready for the Cup under the leadership of Carlos Queiroz (I really don't need to express how much I respect that man, too much talking).
