I personally don't think it would be such a bad idea splitting up the AFC because it certainly too big and vast compared to the other confederations and would be less troublesome for players traveling long distances to other countries and get rest and avoid jet lag. If it were to happen the, quality of West Asia certainly needs to improve its football standards and become more competitive.

Also should include as noted above countries which are typically and historically considered West Asia such as Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and forget about Israel as it could be quite politically debatable and controversial with their inclusion and their ongoing racial cleansing. And East Asia can combine with Oceania. But I highly doubt this will happen straight away maybe in the new future there could be changes coming.

Sadly none of them want to leave UEFA and join AFC.

Its not going to happen straight away. Obviously, its pretty prestigious for these countries to be apart of UEFA but they don't realise how hard its for them to even qualify to continental events such as the Euro and also the World Cup.

These countries such as Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and also including Cyprus are not really gaining anything for being apart of UEFA and they don't seem to notice that. It would be better for them to join AFC or join when AFC possibly splits into two confederations. It will benefit them and also Asia for that matter.

There is 49 countries in Asia and add the few Europeans and you give 8 places
While Africa has 50+ countries and they get 4

I think the opposite. Asia should be expanded to include new members such as New Zealand, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus.

Also have Kazakhstan return back to AFC

Also have current AFC member Northern Mariana Islands become FIFA member so they could participate in World Cup Qualifiers.

Later give options to Russia and Turkey to consider joining AFC.

This will surely give AFC more World Cup spots.

It will also put pressure on Team Melli to step up and play better to gain a spot in the World Cup or perform well in Asia Cup.

Asia shouldn't be split in two. If this Asian Cup has taught us anything is that West Asian Arab teams should automatically be disqualified from all Football related tournaments.

It already the case. Our group of asian cup is 100%, our quarter has big chance to be arab too. iranian clubs group in ACL are all arab until semi final. Only our WCQ can bring us non-arab teams here and there
