-you dont bench an in-form player. azmoun should start alongside gucci
-our youngsters pressed higher in the first half than the starters did during the second half. i think its because theyre so used to dropping back during the world cup and against south korea. we need to keep up that high, aggressive pressure
-rezaian impressed me in the right back role. rafiei has decent dribbles but his corners and passes were weak. ebrahimi played strongly but some of his passes didnt connect.
-beiranvand played well and had some long throws. he did a good job coming off his line to catch a cross. forouzan was almost scored on after trying to cheat in for the cross

I must of seen a different game live, because I thought Ebrahimi, Amiri and Ghafouri were all very poor. Poor touches, poor passing and decision making.
But highlight of the match the Mahmoud's Paneka and the fat Iranian guy dancing with his flag a couple of rows in front of us.

haha, ghafouri i do agree with you that was poor but amiri and ebrahimi?
why was amiri poor? because of the 2 open nets he missed? it was his first TM game so thats expected. did you not see how many times he tracked back and intercepted balls? so many great passes and ran like crazy! give him time ! he will be beast in a few games. ebrahimi had both nekous and andos role! he was both the distributor and the pitbull! he saved so many attacks ! also connected the D line to the midfield line as good as any on on this team could have.

IF I was CQ I will for sure start Azmoon. The guy is keep scoring, fast, fighter and eager to score.

From what I head, they were only missing a striker and a defender.

Sorry the only newcomer I thought was worthy was the goalkeeper Beiranvand .... minus his haircut which looks like a French Hat from far! The other keeper Forouzan is far from being TM material.

Nope ... it was 90% B team. From keeper all the way to striker. Younis Mahmood isn't really a starter anymore!

Can you tell us which players did not play, that are from the A team?

He is just talking bs trying to bring irans result down. Even iraqis said it was their A team. Maybe at most 1 or 2 important players on the bench.

Karrar wasn't playing. I don't really know about the rest. Also Ahmed Yasin didn't play from start now did he?

from what i hear, karar did not make the squad? the only important player that was missing was that left back that plays in a turkish league i think.

No it had nothing to do with the misses, even though it was embarrassing. It was more his touches on the ball, the quality of his passes and making the right passes. Advantage of seeing the game live is you see the whole pitch and what is around him. Ebrahimi is strong but very poor on the ball, the quality of his passes were very poor and decisioning making again was poor, he needlessly gave the ball away too often. This being said the whole team didn't play too well against a poor side like Iraq, so i am not overly bothered by it.
