    Ghoochannejhad or Sardar?

So in one week the AC starts finally, and thank god after so many years we have 2 very dangerous strikers in Gucci and Sardar. Personally, i would love to see both on the pitch, however 99% Queiroz will continue his style and go with 1 striker and that is most probably Gucci. Now i want to now who you would start? For me its a very difficult question but i think i would go with Gucci because of his experience.
By the way its good that we have now 2 young strikers in Azmoun and Ansarifard that play in Europe that will put some pressure on Gucci to move back. Its sad to see him play in KUWAIT (not even Qatar or UAE) at the age of 27, he must definately get out of there and even move to weaker european leagues if he doesnt get any offers. There are so many options better than Kuwait. Im thinking about Switzerland, Austria, back to Netherlands or Belgium, Liga Adelante, Serie B, Bundesliga 2 and few others.

Ghoochannejhad is still clearly the better player, with less weakness. However if he doesn't return to European football I'd say in a year or so Sardar should be starting considering that we should expect Gucci to lose some form from playing with amateurs.

I dont think Gucci is clearly better than Sardar, our sweet boy is really really talented, however i agree for now Gucci probably deserves to start because he has been amazing for TM and is more experienced.

The question is which one of them is the better impact player? In other words which one coming off the bench will cause problems for the opponents? The answer is Sardar and because of that I would play Gucci in the starting 11. That's because Queiroz's philosophy is to counter-attack and if that fails to get us a goal for 70mins then he would sub-in Sardar to dribble past their defence and cause problems.

They are both brute types of strikers. But sardar is more gifted. However Gucci has a very good eye for goal and his improv is amazing. And by that I mean how in wc he almost put e every chance on target. I would start with Gucci and sub in azmoun around 60/65

So a guy who helped Iran in crucial matches and was (still is) a major boost for TM's offence is now really compared to a newb like Azmoun ? (Nevermind the suggestions of replacing him)

Dont get me wrong, Azmoun is really showing himself in friendly matches but when he shines for Iran at really crucial matches like Gucci did against Korea in Korea then i will consider him over Gucci.

For now... Gucci all the way. The guy introduced an agressive mentality in our offence and i thank him for that.

man, that is a real tough question..!!
i really think Carlos needs to figure out a formation that makes good use of both ...!! especially a more attacking formation vs weaker opponents..!!
they are so similarly good on many Striker position aspects..!

i like Reza's(off the ball) work-rate better..!! by that virtue, I'd be more apt to start him to wear out the opposition D, then introduce Sardar as an impact sub early in 2nd half..!!

Ridiculous why we shouldnt play with 2 strikers...our 2 best strikers in a LONG time. My head says to go with Gucci...my heart says Sardar. This kid is going to be a star and he is clearly very grounded - take note all other 'has beens'

I also would love to start both, but Carlos is going with 1 as it seems.

11 goals in 19 (or 20) caps, just turned 27, top-class footballing education and experience of both a number of top quality European leagues as well as a bloody World Cup and consistent performances throughout his career in TM. Sardar would do well to ask him for an autograph and concentrate on learning as much as he can from Reza.

i voted for gucci and let me tell you why. gucci has more games under his belt and he plays Cq's tactics to perfection. he hustles off the ball and Cq loves that. gucci is more gifted but in my opinion he is better as a super sub! gucci starts the game better and he isnt as good as a sub.

Gucci for now, however I would love to see Sardar start with him as CAM/false 9 instead of Shojaei (if CQ sticks with 4-2-3-1 which he in 99,9 % of times will).

I voted Gucci too.. Sardar will probably pass by him by far in a few years, but not yet.. Btw did anyone notice Gucci's pass to Amiri?

Only thing that Sardar is much better at is heading the ball.
