Apparently OWS's Asian Cup hub is going online today. They originally said it was happening on the 4th! I still don't see anything on their site

We are currently in the process of creating our Digital Stadium (Hub) for everyone to see highlights, social media and group play. From there, the stadium will offer everything you need to watch the AFC Asian Cup in Canada. I will send you the link immediately when our Hub is launched.

You'd think by 2015, there would be HD quality available (for sale) on the internet ... without much confusion.

LOL. And they're always shocked and disturbed when people turn to pirated content and illegal streaming!

Boys and girls, I finally have some GREAT news to share...

The goal.com stuff was just good news compared to this!

I have just talked to Tom Campo of Campo Communications, the development company that's working on the AFC Stadium Hub for One World Sports and he has confirmed that the hub will go online tomorrow and will be streaming all the games in HD!

It's only supposed to be available to Canadian IP addresses since you can access OWS through you cable/satellite provider in the US and they only have the N. American rights. But that's not to say that it's not available to anyone who can log in with a Canadian IP address from anywhere else in the world using whatever eeeeeesneaky method!

The day passes are $9.95 CDN, but it would make sense to just pay $29.95 CDN and get the tournament pass which gives you all the Asian Cup games to the end. We will be able to sign up for this tomorrow and since I have his number now and he knows who we are and how anxiously we've been waiting for this, he had told me to call him if we have any issues whatsoever - really nice guy actually.

So, it looks like we'll finally have HD streaming set up for TM's first game (fingers crossed).

He said they're working on that too, but it won't be for this tournament. Our friends south of the border (US) are the only ones with cable access for this tournament.

I don't even really care at this point. As long as I can get a nice stable HD stream, I'm good to go. I'm going to play with it once I get it going, but hopefully the quality is good enough to play on a TV with an HDMI card or Chromecast.

It's a bit costly, but hell of a lot cheaper than being in Australia!
