Yes he was with TM in South Africa, however Im not so sure if he will be joining the team now being that the list needed to be submitted to AFC about a week ago.

Actually Khanzadeh was the one left behind in the end as Beikzadeh still made it. Therefore, and because he is a real central defender, I am not so disappointed, although I feel sorry for Beikzadeh. Would have been his last major tournament with Iran.

Bad news: We won't have Hashem slaying arabs left and right.

Good news: We have one more young prospect added into the team that could get some good international experience

Come on, if it is a fresh break, cant be compared with Ando, ando's been carrying that bandage for as long as I remember.

I wish Beiky the best, he is a decent boy, hard working and deserved his place.

I can just imagine what the General is blubbering about right now!

My feeling is that we will never see biekzadeh in TM again

Also being a perspolisi I am glad that we at least have 1 player in the TM

Khanzadeh was one of brightest talents in Perspolis this season and @24 years old he could be very useful for us

I agree, Beikzadeh is hereby finished in TM. His age taken into consideration, this cup was the last major tournament he could participate in and now that chance is also gone.

I am actually happy we now have a young defender that can play many years for TM to join the team.

He could have been selected earlier but his conducts and performance for U22 Incheon Olympic made CQ to consider alternatives. CQ invited Nejadmehdi ( Padideh) and Pouraliganji.
CQ invite them base on Vingada recommendation.

Vingada was the one strongly recommended Pouraliganji and possibility of CD position.

Pouraliganji scored for Vingada, Khanzadeh got a red card.

He will have stiff competition for that spot in future.

It has officially been confirmed by IFF... Beikazdeh has broken his hand (palm) and has been replaced by Khanzadeh who's leaving for Australia tonight.

Man.. I really feel for him, it was so sad seeing him getting mad and walking off the pitch when getting injured before the world cup.

i remember Khanzadeh from earlier TM trials and he seemed like a very Solid and Promising future CB for TM...!!

by the same token never did rate Hashem all that much, mostly due to his khepel and Slow movement and reaction..! he had a pretty heads up and somewhat intelligent approach to his game and seemed physically stout/strong, but to me his slow pace negated his pluses and made him more a liability in our back-line..!! he surprised me with his somewhat solid displays towards the end of WCQualifying, but it annoyed me that he made the WC squad ahead of Azmoun and others, injured @ that..!!

i dont know about you guys but im quiet pleased with this swap..!!
to me its all about making WCs, I usually dont get all too wound-up for AC games, but this time around im very excited and very much looking forward to it, mostly due to large number of Young and Promising players included in the final 23 man roster..!!
to me this tourney should first and foremost be used as a tune-up for 2018WCQ campaign, especially considering our awful aging starters and how we dont get too many other legitimate chances to battle ready our next generation of footballers.

come the group stage games, I would love to be so pleasantly surprised as in Iraq game with the young make up of our starters ..! but i wont be holding my breath for it, considering how urgent has our federation has made the goal of going far into this tourney and the pressure on CQ to do well inorder to hold on to his job..!
I have good feeling our youngsters this time around will be given decent amount of exposure and playing minutes nonetheless..!!

I feel very bad for him. Injury right before two major tournaments after all the training and hard work. He must have had his heart set on the Asia cup. Also with his age this may have been his final chance to play in a major tournament. Wish him a quick recovery. Bad for TM to lose him too he's a good LB.
