*Thanks goes out to Kiarash for providing me with the template for the match-day thread.

*Thanks also go out to the MODs for allowing us to keep the match day threads for the tournament in this forum.

Indeed if this was placed in international forum it would have gotten no exposure at all. To make the asian cup bigger and make it grow we all have to work on this and making it reach out to more people!

What a great time for all the PST residents, I just wish at least a few of TM games were also played at this time!

Oman usually do better against giants. They almost beat us in 2004 and Australia in 2007 at the Asian Cup. They also beat Australia at 2014 WCQ.

There is also a match that we shall not speak of that you're forgetting (although I did just mention it...)

                          S. Korea should win this one if they can finish their chances and their defence doesn't let them down.

Oman's defence is not the best but they have one of the best Asian keepers and they have proved to be one of the best counter-attacking teams.

Basically this game depends on if Korea perform they way they should and don't choke. Oman stands no chance if Korea starts this game strong which is likely but not definite like they used to be when they had a real leader like PJS. Ki's role as a captain and the team's gelling process still hasn't convinced me yet but they could achieve this through the group stage if they perform well.
