I think we have enough with Eurosport showing this mascarade
This is a major international tournament and many of us are interested in watching matches that extend beyond the scope of Team Melli. If anything, this specific match thread is more important than any of the others that I've made since both these teams are in our group.

If you're not interested, just don't enter the thread. Others enjoy being able to watch the game while discussing it on PFDC.

Sure, you do whatever you want, but Iran shouldn't have to care about the results of others (in our group or not). Only rely on ourselves.

These 2 specific countries didn't invent football and more than 100 years after the creation of this sport, these 2 countries still don't know how to play it!

But you are right, Up to you if you want to watch grassrollingball.

Seriously? But they are blocked, aren't they?
I'm taking about IRIB3, they show the matches, I don't know about IRIB2 though. Have you watched them on IRIB2?

Yes, it's necessary to open up a thread for every match. A lot of people, like me, care about every single match.

It's best for TM to win all its games, so the control remains entirely in our hands but I guess if i were to choose another team to come up with us, I would want Qatar to beat UAE, although a tie is more realistic!

Why Qatar? If anything, I would want UAE to go up. We have land disputes with them correct, but at least they use players from their own "country". It would speed up the antiWC2022 talks if Qatar crashes out in the group stages.

A tie would serve us best. That way, we've already qualified for the 2nd round when we beat Qatar in the next game and UAE will be in a MUST win game with us in the last match, which is exactly where we want them.

the kind of comments to come during this game. i've noticed it's a trend in PFDC when Iran's in a group no matter who's the opposition.

"tight game, both teams are gonna trouble iran!!!"

"UAE passing is so much better!!!"

                        "Qatar's attack is scary"

                        etc etc...

Okay guys remember that they're both facing themselves and not the likes of Argentina, Turkey, Nigeria, etc. They are overhyped with their players that did well in Persian Gulf Cup and Arab leagues. Do they have a Azmoun, Gucci, Dejagah, Nekounam, Haghighi, Jahanbakshsh, etc??? NOPE!

We shouldn't underestimate them though. It is true they may cause problems for TM but that is only IF CQ and the players let them! Just keep calm and watch the battle of these 2 emerging sides that Iran is going to face next while waiting for Iran-Bahrain to start. Let's have TM's back instead of freaking out

But if I see those kind of comments, it's okay I guess. That's how some nervous/passionate/pessimistic fans can be.

I see UAE winning this one 1-0.

Keep in mind that these teams will try to massacre each other, as they know the possibility of goal difference (after facing Iran) could potentially bite them in the ass

I wish both teams could lose this game and all three Arab teams could crash out of the group stage. Wishful thinking...

This guy thinks Qatar is west asia's best chance of winning the cup

Anyone know who this guy is? The level of knowledge of some of these writers is embarrassing.
