Statistics of TM - Asian Cup 2015

AFC will offer quite a lot of interesting match statistics on their website - for each team & player. I thought it would be good to have a separate thread for this and collect all data here as unfortunately AC and WC are almost the only two opportunities for us to have a closer and deeper look for our analysis on TM, since IFF does not constantly come up with the same stats for all IPL/TM games.

Except for the goal count, those stats are def. favouring Bahrain.

Is there any stats about how much ground the players covered individually?

Yeah I want to see those but unfortunately there isn't.

Really curious to see how much ground Haj Safi and Ghafouri covered. They were everywhere, always fast-paced, and outran everybody.

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Proud of them. The Qatar game can't come soon enough.

This is indeed disappointing as I also consider those stats as one of the most interesting ones. Last AC AFC did show the distance covered by each team/player, no clue why they stopped that this time.

This is really a treasure trove of a resource! The statistics features on the AFC site are very detailed!

It's very interesting to have the ability to compare any two teams.

E.g. I just learned that Iran's defense won 100% of tackles vs. Australia's 69.2%. Of course, this is just one game, so it won't mean much, but it'll be extremely interesting to revisit this page as more games have been played; statistically speaking: as n gets larger it will become more meaningful. At the end of the tournament, someone within the Iranian football federation should record all the data, including a head to head comparison of Iran against all the other participating teams.
