Even in this game that you are trying to make a Messi out of him he had very bad moments too like the blunder today in our own box which could have led to the Bahraini goal.
I and others who criticize Massoud will be the first one to express our support the moment he is consistent.

I am still in a state of shock as to the support Iran had tonight. There couldnt have been more than 100 non iranians in the stadium.....18,000 Iranians to an Iran game on the others side of the world from Iran.
There was a massive party outside before the game, the whole time during the game and WOW after the game outside with the tombaks and drums we just went off. I went to the Australia game and it had NOTHING on this.
I am soo bloody proud of my fellow Iranians tonight. Well done to Iran for brining "Leaders" from Iran to keep the crowd going the whole game. They were the difference and just kept the crowd going the whole 90 minutes.
Here are some photos and I have some awesome videos as well that I will post on youtube and give links later.

Am I the only one who can't see any of the Photos??

POST-MATCH DISCUSSION | vs. Bahrain - Asian Cup 2015
If You noticed, that Aiash guy clearly looked ambitious to provoke our players inside the tunnel to the pitch, everyone was focused to enter the pitch, somewhere praying, others like Neko was talking to the kids who company the players.
But that Aiash guy was looking at our boys all the time and you clearly read his body language that he was up for no good.
I am pretty sure Haghighi noticed that too and thought him a lesson there.
Hell yeah. I love him.IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Let me start off by saying I have been begging for a good performance from Masoud forever, in particular coming into this match. I don't think I've gotten happier for any TM player when they scored a goal than I did when Masoud scored that goal. VERY easily should have and could have had an assist or two if it wasn't for this joke of a reff who called 3 illegitimate offsides.
First half our team was very weak IMO and couldn't manage to put a few pass together....the counters were decent but overall that was a sub-par half IMO. That goal from Hajsafi was a much needed boost we needed going into the 2nd half and I was yelling at my TV for the last 5 minutes saying we needed a goal before half and when Hajsafi hit that sweetly, I ran around my house like a little kid on Christmas
The brightest points of the first half for me were ghafouri and dejagah's runs, masouds creativity and Pouraliganji showing great calmness and poise in his first half of a major tournament. These 3 kept me somewhat content with our team going into half.
Second half IMO we did better and put more pressure. nekounam and ando got more involved and had some key passes and interceptions. Both played like the bosses they are as usual.
Overall very good performance and I couldn't be happier for Masoud, hope he can continue that good play.
Good 3 points.Team Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali

Good 3 points.
CQ also points it out! (well he directly talks about Bahrain's dirty play and ref not doing enough but the article mentions the off-sides)
