Would be cool if we beat them with more than 5 goals. WC22 in a country who cant play football 4:1 lose against UAE, 5:0 against Iran, 3:1 against Bahrain. 1:12 = -11

This is how I see the game panning out:
The Qataris will control possession for the most part, and may even dictate the proceedings with strong attacks. I mean, these guys need to win, simple as that, as a result, they will really open up their midfield and defense becoming very vulnerable to our counters.
What we need to do, which we know how to do, is absorb and release the pressure at the right opportunities. I see us playing a defensive game and countering at every given opportunity. Dejagah will be key to this game, and needs to be more conscious of how long he is holding on to the ball for. A couple of through balls to gucci, and we are in.
Iran 2 - Qatar 0.
Do not think about the GD, only about getting the 3 points, which we will.

But just because the keeper had his hands up is not 100% definitive proof that an offisde had been called. In fact, an attacking player is stupid if they decide to not kick the ball into the back of the net just because the keeper is indicating offside. You can't just assume the opposing keeper is telling the truth regarding an offside. If a player doesn't hear the whistle or see the offside flag then he SHOULD put the ball in the back of the net.
Now whether he actually heard the whistle is debatable...

I don't know if we are suffering from short term memory or not, but here I go. Qatar gave us trouble in Azadi because they wanted a tie. They had a completely different team back then with Jeddo/Soria/Kasola and random Africans. Now they have different Africans who played terribly against UAE. Qatar officially put Bilal Mohammed their best/most experienced CB on the injured list before the UAE game, meaning he can't play for the rest of the tournament, tricks or not. In this game, we need to take it to them. This game we will be much luckier with beating the offside trap.
Our boys remember that Qatar sold themselves to get us eliminated in the WCQ. Quieroz is probably putting that point into their heads now. Qatar tried to eliminate us in the WC qualifiers, lets eliminate them now.

Unexpeted 4-1 lose to UAE seems like the Arab teams get United to eliminate Iran in favour of UAE. Qatar's goal keeper was terible against UAE while he plays usually much better. Former Aisian player of the year is still in Qatar and can surprize. If Qatar plays like UAE game we hould win with at least 4 goals but if they play dirty then what?

I know Qatar messed up big time in their previous game, but there's no guaranty that they'll be as shaky against us.
And by the laws of the game, every match is the final for us!
If we mess up against Qatar, we will be in a very tough situation and have to climb uphill and hope Bahrain or Qatar won't sacrifice themselves to eliminate us!
So this game is arguably the most important one.
Upon beating Qatar, we'll have a level playing field competing against UAE.
