I love how after SK's 2 terrible yet lucky performances, the South Korean coach is praising Iran. Back when we played them in our last friendly he talked a lot of shit after the game. It looks like he has finally come to the realization that this Korean team is not very good and that Iran is clearly better at the moment.
I was wondering when that German rational thinking would kick in,
* Apparently Khalfan Ibrahim has been doing some light exercises rather than doing more intense training with the rest of the team. No details as to why or what his situation is.
* Also absent from regular practice was Ibrahim Majid according to some articles.
* I know some people thought the situation with Bilal may have been a trick, but he has actually been replaced by a defender who's joining the Qatar team for the 1st time! His name is Mohamad Iazy, but I can't find any info on him. Another article said Mohamad Kasola. At any rate, Bilal is already back in Qatar for treatment and is definitely out.
That brings to 3, the number of 100+ cap players that are now out of the Qatar squad for one reason or another (Soria, Bilal and Rizik)! Looks to me like major miscalculation by Belmadi. Not to mention that their next two highest capped players Khalfan Ibrahim and Ibrahim Majid are obviously fatigued or nursing some sort of light injury with less than two days to go!
The pointers are according to the Google translation of a couple of articles. If anyone understands Arabic, please click on this link and confirm part of the above translation.

Youre a little off... but understandable since you don't speak the language. Ibrahim Majid and Khalfan are being rested so they were recovering and doing light exercises.. nothing wrong with them.
The new defender instead of Bilal Mohammad is Kasola..I believe he has played against us before and is one of the more experienced players.
The rest of the article is just a bunch of standard crap...the players are motivated to beat Iran..they were fixing the errors they had against UAE.. blah blah blah.
Nonetheless he still shows support for the team. Rahmati would have hoped for Iran to lose. This is the difference between European based players and IPL ones right here.
*** edited *** with your biased garbage you throw out here everyday. Since when Does Davari represent every European based played and Rahmati the IPL ones? Are you telling me that every IPL player who was not called up would love to see TM lose? There are not many classier goalkeepers than Ahmadi for instance, baba the amount of hatred you have for our IPL players is beyond amazing.
Hey, Calm down, and speak in a better tone!
friendly warning!
Yes Kiarash, why do generalize IPL players' character like that? As far as I know Rahmati is one of the very, very few (if not the only one) who's made such a statement.
It is so simple to win against Qatar by 3 - 4 goals.
It is called possession. We need to be in control of the game. I am tired of watching aimless long balls, zir e toop and bad passes. Let's play some good football for God's sake.
There were moments in the game with Bahrain that we looked like we are playing against the top team in the world. We had parked 10 men inside the 18 and all we did was zir e toop at all costs. It gives a bad feeling watching a team like Bahrain making mock of our players by moving the ball around and Kers-vasat our players. Watch Min 55-60 and the last 5-10 min of the game and you would know what I am talking about ... We were lucky Bahrain did not know how to score otherwise it could have easily be 2-2. Australia on the other hand, would punish you left, right and centre if you play such sluggish game.
Iran needs to improve fast and that would be in the passing and possession of the ball ... otherwise, I just can't see us continue with such tactics and be successful for long.
If we can,t have majority of ball possesion vs. Qatar then we are gona be doomed when we play Japan or Austlralia
however
I predict a 3-0 victory for TM
Our strength against Qatar has to be possession because they will want the game to flow as well. They can't afford to kill the game unless they are ahead. Without Wezam Rizik and Bilal Mohammed they have lost their team leaders. Mohammed Kasola, the replacement, is a big guy with little technical ability but a strong physique. He is going to make scoring on setpieces more difficult, which only emphasizes our need to control ball possession and beat them on the ground.
We are going to have to play Sadeghi this game in defense because one of their attackers, the Ghanaian Mohammed Muntari, and is 1.94 m. Sadeghi was our only player who shut down South Korea's 6'4 Kim Shin Wook in Ulsan.

First of all, learn how to not insult others. Secondly, what makes you think you can tell me to "stfu"? Who are you excatly? I am totally done with your silly personaltiy as a true keyboard warrior. You have been acting very tough lately towards me by saying insulting stuff which is laughable and just silly to say at least. Just like about Masoud when you indirectly mention me having a mind of a 5 year old as you call it. People like you really drive me away from PFDC. You are a pathetic human being, with this said I'm done with you and PFDC.
