FIFA actually made an exception for Iran for the WC since it was for a good cause and it took a long time to get that approved, making the TM jersey the first one in the history of WC to have a large animal imprint on it (as far as I know).
If you recall, the Cheetahs were much lighter though which was the compromise everyone reached at the time. I was actually wondering how we were getting away with it this time.

And I wonder how our new red jerseys will look

According to footballitarin, Dejagah told TASNIM News that he will score against Qatar because of our people
Well, never heard of him saying such things. If it's not bs i hope he can keep his promise
remember his debut against Qatar?
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Under that scenario, it would still be mathematically possible for 3 teams (Iran/UAE/Bahrain) to end up with 6 points each in which case, all of them will have equal points against one another and it will come down to goal difference!
But for that to happen, Bahrain have to win both of their next two games and UAE has to beat us. Unlikely scenario to unfold exactly in that manner, but it is mathematically possible and therefore we won't qualify until the end of the last game - unless Bahrain doesn't get the 3 points of course.

What's Ghafouri like defensively? He hasn't really been tested so far in a TM shirt so I'm not sure but he better not be one of those full-backs who make up for their defensive deficiencies with their attacking strength because he's up against one of the best players in the tournament tomorrow in Khalfan. Hopefully Khalfan keeps cutting in and gets managed by Ando.

But we don't have to worry about that because we will win both matches hopefully.

If Bahrain beats UAE by 3-1 and Qatar with whatever score, and we lose our match against UAE with 2-0, Bahrain and UAE will qualify.

The good thing about this whole thing is that there's virtually no chance of gauv bandi for this 2nd game.
UAE are certainly not going to throw the game to Bahrain and take a 90% risk of getting eliminated after such a brilliant start and there's no reason for Bahrain to throw the game to UAE because UAE's in the best position to advance with Iran any way.

about Qatar /
1- forget about Qatar match against UAE , that is not Qatar performance at all.
2- remember , they draw with us at Azadi , the current Qatari team is better .
3- they will play a very strong game against TM , for the following reasons:
A- TM is the best team in the group , and first Asia ranking , so they will play strongly in this match.
B- they lost the first match , and they have to win this match and Bahrain match to pass.
accordingly , the match will be very very hard for TM , so we have to take it very very serious .
my advise to TM coach to watch Qatar match against KSA ( Last Gulf Cup final) to discover the strength and weakness of the Qatari team .
