^hahahaha that's so random.IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

I'm not going to make a prediction, but here's what I would expect as a minimum and realistic goal:
A 1:0 win with no injuries and no cards to prevent key people from playing in our next group game (remember: we want to top the group).
No goals conceded is important to continue on as Asia's best defense. No injuries, because if we aim for the cup win, there's plenty more games to come.
If we do that I'd be happy, anything above that (2:0, 3:0 etc.) would be a nice bonus. A loss would obviously be unacceptable to me; a 2:1, 3:2 etc win only if we play fantastic and the conceded goals were flukes, bad ref calls etc. That's it. Let's start thinking liek a tournament team...

Pissed me off last night during the Saudi game when the commentator said that we'd seen possible title winners already in the tournament and he listed "Japan, Australia, Korea Republic, and even UAE showed themselves to be a possible title winner."
What about Iran douches??? Who's **** do we have to suck to get some respect.
Let's steamroll these Arabs to assert our dominance. Maybe then they will start respecting us, despite their intents not to show us any respect.
FYI, I sent John Duerden a pm on twitter (was respectful, to not make Iranians look bad), but I said that his words that "Iran would be better if we played in the "Gulf Cup" aka the Persian Gulf Cup" is extremely insensitive to Iranians. I told him that Korea Republic might not have a problem playing Kuwait and Oman if they merged into part of the Communist People's Republic of North Korea. Such a suggestion to join the cup of Arabs is as insensitive to Iranians as me telling Koreans to become absorbed by North Korea.
He responded douchily by saying "Hehe, at least we have 6 points while missing 7 players."

Suggested lineup:
--------------------Haghighi-----------------
--Ghafouri---Hosseini--Sadeghi--Pouladi--
------------Nekounam-----Ando-------------
--------------------Hajsafi----------------------
--Dejagah-----------------------Jahanbakhsh-
---------------------Reza-----------------------
Reasons for line up:
= Ghafouri although had mistakes last game, he has the potential to be very strong if he can link better with Dejagah and is better than Heydari both on defense, offense, speed, and crossing. Also with Sadeghi playing the defense will be better coordinated
= Pouraliganji performed well, but i think with the size of the opponents, Sadeghi is better to be playing along side Hosseini this game
= I think JB needs a full 90 minutes to show what he can do and he is not being given enough time, he's a gem
= I think Hajsafi can perform well in the middle, and if needed Shojaei can be his substitute or Rafiei but I dont think it is needed
= Would substitute Azmoun 65th minute for Reza but i think Reza should start I feel like he can get us a quick goal early on
= Would bring in Amiri 75th minute for Dejagah, he gasses early and Amiri can punish the opponents when they are tired he is very strong and fast
Tactic:
= I think we can outrun and outpace Qatar. We have fast players, and as seen from the UAE game, a few quick passes and their defense opens up. (Jahanbakhsh, Dejagah (quick on the ball), Amiri, Hajsafi, and Reza are all fast players). Don't be fooled by their goalies performance last game he is usually really good against us, especially strong on corners. Therefore we should be focused on outrunning them, and we need a strong physical defense to stop their attack and the game should be ours.
Just my suggestions, go CQ & TM We're gonna win--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

------------------Ezatolahi-----Ebrahimi--------------
--Jahanbaksh---------Ghoddos------------Taremi--
