I know I had a thread similar to this before the World Cup. Now I am curious to know if according to you our players will get offers from European teams or not. I forgot to mention A-League as well, since the tournament is in Australia and scouts might be watching Team Melli to pick up potential players. I made a poll of players who might have a shot in Europe (Masoud and Dejagah included, you'll never know if they decide to leave Qatar soon)

Honestly I thinks some european clubs are looking closely at Hajsafi after his great goal, wouldn't be surprised if he moves to a Championship side, but my bet would be a move in the summer

I always believed Hajsafi had the physicality to play in Europe. His technic is relatively sound as well.

I think there is always potential for players like himself and it's a POSSIBILITY to play in Europe - but not necessarily something that unfolds as it should.

Many players may shine but may never be subject to the scouting process of 'needle in a haystack' to take them all the way to EU / prominent leagues.

He was on verge of moving to Fulham but it didn't went through due to technical issues am I right? Hajsafi would be a great addition to a struggling Fulham.

This reminds me of all the talks around the mighty Arash Afshin himself going to Lille and other European teams after the 2011 AC on PFDC. Never happened of course.


My guess is that no one goes to Europe, Asian Cup is not the World Cup, and scouts probably only look at the final. Even after the World Cup we thought we would have couple of new legionnaires, what happened is that it even decreased. After the Asian Cup I would expect the same, our best players go to Persian gulf teams so that people here could say "nooshe jooneshoon" and "you would do the same if it was you, they are building their future!!!!". Hope I'm dead wrong and at least guys like Hajsafi make it.

Ghafouri, Poor Ali Ganji, Hajsafi and Ando are getting massive amount of attention here in AUS so I at least expect an enquiry.
Haghighi will definitely be looked at and Rubin will be looking to sell.

I can personally tell you that two European scouts were sitting behind me and having a very intense discussion about Ashkan and Ghafouri. They were speaking in Portuguese so I didn't understand.

You make it a lot worse than it sounds, 2nd division of Spain is OK and it's Karim's level.
