Do you think our players will get offers from European teams after the Asian Cup?

Guys, the Asian Cup is just a microcosm for European clubs! If they really care, how come nobody from the Iraqi national team in 2007 was transfered to Europe after they won the final against Saudi??

They mostly care for players or nations who guarantee a possible revenue from the domestic market...

Maybe because Iraqi players always have flopped in Europe.

wat usually happens in such tournaments are mainly scouts who have some players under the microscope from before (usually they are east asian due to them having a good reputation in europe nowadays), come to see their target player play in asian cup and then, if any other player shines drastically, can catch the eyes of that scout. this was how ali daei caught the attention of arminia bielefeld after asian cup 1996. there were scouts to watch a korean player whom they had targeted before but daei scored 4 goals that match and caught their attention. after that, they followed him and gave him an offer.

a very short period. Younis Mahmoud also had interest from Europe but never went for it.

They gave him a 3 year deal. He was so bad, they released him less than half a season.

Reported only from the Iraqi side.

Iran is not comparible to iraq as iraq has never had any good players in europe. Ali adnan is already a flop riding the bench in a lower table turkish side. If iran makes it far iran has a decent enough reputation with current players like azmoun, jahanbakhsh, nekounam and past players like kia, hashemian, daei to attract european scouts and offers. But after that politics makes it difficult.

more or less for iranian players yes, compared to east asian players but i guess thats partly down to west asian football not having as good a reputation in europe as east asia specially in recent years

Apart from Azmon and Ando I don't see anyone standing out to the point of European interest. I still don't see the creativity to set them apart. But the good thing is that I am not an expert and don't know jack about what top teams are looking for.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

Yeah the kid Omar belongs in one of the big leagues. We can't just look the other way. Some of those skills ripped through our defence.

He has got to be the classiest Asian player of the current generation. BY FAR!

Take it down a notch, he is indeed very talented, but we have had Asian players play in some of the best teams of the world in this generation. He might even become the best asian player ever, but he isn't yet and hasn't done very much yet, only played for UAE and Al-Ain in the ACL, let him first move to Europe and face the big dogs, then lets talk about him. He has pretty good dribbling ability, but his best trait is his amazing passing, great playmaker.
