China plays like a decent european team. awesome.IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Nice game by China. I fancy their chances against S. Korea if they face in quarters.
Btw I knew Uzbeks were overrated but this has been so bad from them in 2nd half since 65min. No real sense of urgency, players aren't close to each other, and lacking that creative player. extremely lucky if they draw this in the end because China could have easily scored more and Uzbeks played like shit.

Wow, Japan could very well end up having to take out two other East Asian teams on their way to the final in two very high tempo, high intensity and tiring games.
If that happens and we make it to the final, I would definitely fancy our chances against them.
Of course, one step at a time and I'm still hoping S. Korea can beat Australia, so that we can play them in the semi instead of the Australians.
