Best result for us is a tie in this game:

    * If UAE win, we will go into our last game having to beat them to top the group and avoid Japan - a tie will not do, and that's extra pressure on the boys.

    * If Bahrain win, there's a very strong possibility they will do gauv-bandi with an already eliminated Qatar in the next game to finish with 6 points and a very good goal difference. That will put our chances in jeopardy, because even a 1-0 loss againt UAE could mean we're out!

If the game is a tie, not only do we qualify for the quarters after this game, UAE will come into the next game needing only a draw to book their spot in the next round (they could very well qualify even with a narrow loss) so they may not be as adventurous in offense as if they needed a win. Of course, in this case all we need to top the group is also a draw.

I don't think Bahrain has the quality to beat UAE unless they score early and manage to hold on somehow but I doubt it.

I know many people think that UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain were in conspiracies to eliminate Iran before the start of the tournament but I highly doubt it especially seeing how UAE and Qatar went down. UAE were absolutely ruthless and screwed up Qatar's GD. No way a team like Qatar or UAE will lose to Bahrain on purpose after the amount of money they've invested in their football in Asian Cup 2015. Doing it at this stage is too obvious for the world to see how they are after all the investments they've made in their football.

If we beat Qatar, aren't we through? Remember it's based on head-to-head, and not goal difference, and we've beaten Bahrain already and providing we beat Qatar too
I've learnt it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts

Funniest Scenerio (for iranians of course this isnt funny). Bahrain wins and Qatar wins. Everyone in group will have 3 points. Comes down to last round.
          EAT. SLEEP. TM. REPEAT.

No, if it's a 3 way tie, the head-to-head will be between all 3 teams, not just 2.

All 3 teams will have one win and one loss against each other in that scenario, so it will come down to the goal difference between them and if that's the same and goals scored against each other is the same, it will go to goal difference overall.

A UAE win vs ostane bahrain and iran win vs ostane qatar and its done.

This would mean: 6-2= 4 left

The Arab conspiracy comes into picture when they have completely lost their qualification hopes, in which case they'll do anything on and off the field to damage Iran.
Most recent example: UZB vs QTR

Ali Mabkhout scored in the first minute of the match. Fastest goal in history of Asian Cup for sure.
