Ghafouri should also come in for heydari...he is absolute garbage. He goes to the side line and looks for a line pass, if he sees none...he either passes it back or boots it.

It was a open game in the first half, I am very distracted this game so I can't review or watch in depth. UAE seemed to overall perform better give credit where credit is due. However, we have had dangerous chances. Nekounam and Ando were playing really well, Azmoun had some good chances and made himself open. I didn't see Rafiei too much, and Amiri kind of drifted off after first 15. Jahanbakhsh is not perfoming well at all, was expecting a lot from him he is however having to play pretty much 3 positions teh whole right side of the field seems like has to be covered by him. BTW this is the second game in a row Pouladi has been poor! He is not his WC level at all. That afro guy really embarrased our defense on that play and gave UAE a lot of confidence. I think CQ needs to bring on ghafouri, Dejagah, and Reza (Ghafouri for Heydari, Dejagah for a winger, and around 75th minute reza for Azmoun). We need to win this game. Again I admit I have not been able to watch this game in depth so if my comments are way off please excuse them. Go TM

Interesting lineup.
TM did a good job defensively; Omar has been pretty much shut down, but still managed some dangerous scenes.
My biggest critique is that often on counters we don't hold, but hoof the ball or play too unprecisely. Also not happy about some unneccessary cards.
We did have some chances. Hopefully we'll score soon after the restart.
Other than that: this is pretty much Iran's style these days; it's bound to majorly frustrate *any* team we play against.

I am not exaggerating, you cannot win a game without being able to pass the ball around. Yes UAE plays with no brain but the worse team in the first half was clearly IRAN.. this is just sad.. the mighty UAE...just think about it...
