The three behind Azmoun clearly haven't taken the opportunity here, the fact we can't pose much of a threat and get a foothold on the game is down to their ineffective performance and shows the importance of the other three (insert 'if Shojaei was putting in this performance...' line). Still, we've kept them relatively quiet aside from the referee giving them some soft fouls. Get those three on with at least 30 minutes on the clock and we should be able to create some chances and from there on in, it's about taking our chances.

Gonna expect an almighty chimpout from the 'CQ IS TOO DEFENSIVE' brigade if we fail to win here.

Yes UAE have dominated the possession department but haven't had 1 truly dangerous opportunity where as we have had 3!

The point is, possession does not equal more success in terms of opportunities on goal.

Dejagah needs to come in for Amiri...and rafei needs to step it up in the middle.

Ghafouri should also come in for heydari...he is absolute garbage. He goes to the side line and looks for a line pass, if he sees none...he either passes it back or boots it.

Poor Jahanbakhsh is stuck there to play with the turtle Heydari.
Everyone has been terrible so far and the stat is devestating.

We simply don't have a midfield. Ando and Neku are busy to help the defense. Jahanbakhsh and Azmoun are lost upfront.
Can't believe how excited i was reading the line up and yet so disappointed by the utter shit performance so far.
